Mommy Bloggers and the Need for a Social Media Manager

by Debbie Twomey on March 23, 2012

There is a growing movement in today’s Internet world, the Mommy bloggers. There are many reasons for Moms to want to blog or create websites:

  • They have experience they want to share
  • They are skilled at writing and find this to be a perfect niche for their talents
  • They want to work from home to be with their children
  • They realize this is an excellent source of income– done right
  • They are on the computer already, why not turn it into a business
  • They have found a community where ideas, problems and solutions can be shared

Whatever the reason this is a growing dynamic and we offer tips and services to make it easier and help Mommy’s grow their business.  Blogging is opening doors of opportunity to stay- at- home moms and it is providing resources for others who require information and ideas to help them in their lives.

We not only blog about valuable parenting information, we will be offering services to assist other mom bloggers to extend (as Sandi Krakowski says) their “Reach” so more people will have access to their websites.  In order to do that, Mommies need to understand Social Media tools such as Twitter, Facebook (and its new business Timeline pages), Google+, Hootsuite, and Pinterest and how these medias can increase your followers.

Moms have a great advantage over some businessmen as they have mastered multi-tasking. Now, with the assistance of a Social Media Manager (SMM), those blogging moms can free up valuable time that will be better spent parenting, sharing and writing. Managing your precious time will be our job as well as offering exciting tips to stay on task and make the most of the time you do have for blogging. We will reveal informational posts that will relieve parenting problems and celebrate the joy of raising your children.

We can also support bloggers with:

  •  Effective pointers for new parents
  •  Daycare options (for those who still need some free time away from kids)
  •  Expectations at each stage of your child’s development
  •  Kid’s growing guide

We encourage moms to embrace this new opportunity of growth and industry. Find out what the buzz is about Pinterest, and how what seems like virtual scrapbooking can actually draw an audience to your website and still be fun.  Discover why the new Facebook Timeline page is an asset to your business. And do not fall behind in Tweets; they are creating a seismic wave in today’s social media world

Being in business for yourself is a challenge but one that can be made easier with the right Social Media Manager. We can take the hassle out of trying to find the time to parent and blog. Let us take some of that bother for you by letting us socially “mediamanage” for you and extend your “reach.”

Parenting is one of the hardest and most rewarding “jobs’ you will ever have and we want you to get as much from it as possible. We offer parenting information and resources to assist in all your parenting needs in each stage of your child's life and media tools to develop your website with the same tender loving care you give to your children.

"I have dedicated my life to the care and welfare of children. I feel privileged to share what I have learned with you.
